Well, unfortunately we did not receive the news we all wanted to hear. Jay Inslee has extended the stay at home order to May 31st. He plans to re-open the economy in 4 phases. Barber shops and salons are in phase 2 but we are uncertain on a specif date. He stated there will be AT LEAST 3 weeks in between each phase and we go into phase 1 tomorrow.
I will continue to keep you updated as I know more. I'm getting lots of different info but I am in a Cosmologists of Washington group that has been very helpful and the admins there are trying to sort out all the information for us barbers and cosmos. I am also posting all updates on my website at
Keep healthy and safe, hope to see you all very soon!

Governor Inslee spoke today and to sum it up, I cannot open my doors on May 5th. He said he will update the state on Friday with his plan to slowly reopen the economy. I hope he gives us a date for when we can re-open!
Hope to see you all before June ;)

A quick update-
For those of you who prefer not to attempt an at home haircut, I suggest using styling products to tame your mane for the time being. For those of you that DO attempt it, maybe get a significant other to help! There are a lot of YouTube videos out there that are super helpful. I've also seen a lot of you growing out the facial hair and I love it! Gotta try it out now while you can :)
Also, a lot of you have been contacting me for a home visit haircut. As much as I would love to see you and cut your hair I just can't. I am a definite rule follower and I could be fined up to $5000 as well as risk losing my license. I also think it's best to keep staying home until the governor deems it safe. And on that note, don't be surprised if I'm wearing a mask when you see me for a haircut ;) I think they will be making us wear gloves and masks once all barbers can go back to work.
I hope to see you all very soon!

I hope you and your families are all staying healthy and enjoying your time together. Thank you again to everyone that has reached out to see how Colten and I are doing. You are all in my thoughts. I cannot express enough how much your loyalty and friendship means to me.
I wanted to give another quick update as the date of re-opening PNW Barber is still uncertain. I'm hopeful I will be able to start taking clients again at the beginning of May, but I do not have an exact date as of now. I will continue to keep you updated the best that I can.
Until then, the doors and appointments will have to be closed until further notice. If you receive any 5 week emails during this time, please disregard them.
If you would like to get on a wait list for when I am able to open again, please contact me via email or text message. (If you had an appointment on March 24th or after, you are already on my list). Otherwise, I will send out another email/text when I open up my books again.
Thank you all so much for your love and support! I wouldn't be here without you.

To all my wonderful clients,
Due to the escalation of the Coronavirus, Governor Inslee is now requiring salons and barbershops to be a part of this shut down. My studio will be closed until 4/1. I am sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause you. I so wish I could continue working and seeing you all but it's just not possible for the time being.
I will be reaching out to anyone who has an appointment these next two weeks. You can still book online 24/7 to make appointments beginning April 1st. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
I hope everybody is staying healthy and safe! I will keep you all updated via text, email, and social media. Thank you for
your understanding and continued support.
I look forward to seeing you next month!
